This is the Sony PlayStation 2 PS2 TEST Debugging Station System Model DTL-H75000A Slim. This is the slim console version. They also made a Fat version.

The system turns on but the game disc does NOT spin. When I hold down the dvd door with my hand, I can feel the drive rumble a little. I haven't tried to trouble shoot it yet.

I tried to dumping the bios using the guide on https://pcsx2.net/docs/usage/setup/gather/. The PlayStation Driver Version for this system is 2.00.

Since the dvd drive does not read, I cant use "FreeDVDBoot" to dump the bios.
I ordered a "FreeMCBoot Memory Card".

I plugged in a PlayStation2 8mb Memory Card OEM Black, with FMcB V 1.966 and I only got a black screen with an occasional flicker.
Unfortunately, I could not dump the bios.

This system (when properly working) can play:

PS1 & PS2 games
All regions

NTSC-U/C – The Americas.
NTSC-J – Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Southeast Asia.
NTSC-C – Mainland China.
PAL – Europe, Australia, New Zealand, India, South Africa.

Games that were written onto a disc from a home computer.

This system was developed for companies that made video games for the PS2. Since the video game developers needed a consoled to test and debug their own games, Sony made it easy on them and removed all region and copied game restrictions.

These systems were not meant to be distributed to the public.
